"The Natural Balance greets you with two questions for reflection. What have you given? What have you received? The image presents a red and blue fish circling a 12 pointed center star. These fish serve as symbols of the ancient forces of Shu (air) and Tefnut (water). Both of these elemental forces illustrate the natural expansion and contraction of creation which sustains all life. Just as the waves of the ocean flow in and out so does one's breath expand and contract as life journeys onward. As we journey, we encounter the ebb, flow, and balance of cosmic cycles as there is a time for all things.
There is a time to rest and a time to rise. There is a time for day and a time for night. There is a time to sow and a time to reap. Evermore, there is a time for speaking and a time for silence. Both Shu and Tefnut follow each other in a harmonious dance across the cosmos as the natural balance of all continues onward and upward into eternity. Be encouraged to see deeply into the center and be receptive to the message Shu and Tefnut have at this moment for you."
